ACV/CSC IMPLEMENTS DATA EXCHANGE WITH RVA/ONEM USING .NET AND BIZTALK IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS.    
On July 1st 2002 ACV/CSC started to develop the automatic exchange of social security data with RVA/ONEM. ACV/CSC selected .NET and Microsoft Message Queuing. RVA/ONEM runs IBM MQSeries. The integration was done using Host Integration Server and BizTalk. Euricom has set up the .NET architecture and coached all internal developers during implementation. End December 2002 the system went live.
DE POST/LA POSTE RUNS THE MOST TRANSACTION INTENSIVE SQL SERVER DATABASE IN EUROPE.    
The new sales solution for all Belgian post offices generates over 1.000.000 transactions per day on 1 central SQL Server database. XML data exchange between clients and server over web services and ADSL takes less than one second. Euricom designed and implemented this web-centric architecture that avoids the acquisition and maintenance of 1.300 local servers.
Case Study
EURICOM DELIVERED .NET EXPENSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO DELHAIZE ON DECEMBER 31ST 2001.    
Mid 2001 when .NET was still in beta, Euricom proposed Delhaize to develop an expense management system in Visual Studio.NET. As the Belgian participant in the Microsoft EMEA .NET Early Adopter Program, Euricom had sufficient experience in .NET to take the technical and financial risks of delivering the solution fixed price on beta versions of .NET.
MERCATOR SELECTS EURICOM FOR .NET ARCHITECTURE, COACHING, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT.    
In January 2002 Mercator chose Euricom to coach 30 Cobol and Powerbuilder developers in their move to .NET. In parallel, Euricom developed the .NET GUI framework for ASP.NET and smart clients. Beginning 2003, Euricom accepted the .NET project management and design responsibilities for all .NET front office banking activities.In April 2003 Mercator signs contract with Euricom to develop the front office banking activities at a fixed price.
MICROSOFT WINS .NET PROOF-OF-CONCEPTS AT TELEPOLIS AND MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS.    
Euricom solution architects have done design and development work in 2 .NET proof-of-concepts that Microsoft has won. At Telepolis, all ASP.NET and BizTalk integration code was written by Euricom. At Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Euricom implemented both ASP.NET and smart client interfaces and a deployment management tool in less than 2 weeks.
MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS REALIZES BOTH RICH CLIENT AND THIN CLIENT ADVANTAGES WITH UNIQUE .NET TECHNOLOGY.    
To ease software deployment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wants to develop new applications in a web-centric architecture. Euricom proposed to use the .NET smart client technology in combination with web services to benefit from all web-centric advantages. Euricom also developed a smart client GUI framework that guarantees sub-second performance, shortens the time-to-market and provides optimal usability.
 
SWIFT AUTOMATES PROJECT MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS WITH EASY-TO-USE ASP.NET INTERFACE.    
At SWIFT, definition of controlled access to folders, replication of folders with security over 10 different servers all over the world, and user/group management in Active Directory are the main administrative tasks in setting up a new project. Euricom automated all these actions in an ASP.NET interface following the highest security standards. This .NET solution was delivered at a fixed price.
MIX OF DIFFERENT .NET TECHNOLOGIES AUTOMATES COMPLETE BUSINESS PROCESS AT BANANAS.    
As an early adopter, Bananas selected the .NET technology to fulfill their extreme variance of business needs with a combination of smart clients, web interfaces, windows services, mobile messaging integration (SMS), multi-monitor projections in their load zone and pocket PC applications. All these technologies were needed to optimize their business processes. Euricom delivered an integrated .NET solution and gave Bananas a invaluable competitive edge. In March 2003 Euricom delivers a Tablet PC .NET Application for their Sales Force Automation system.
BANK J. VAN BREDA SELECTS EURICOM FOR .NET ARCHITECTURE AND COACHING.    
After selecting Microsoft .NET technology over Java technology, Bank J. Van Breda selected Euricom to implement an ASP.NET architecture. Furthermore Euricom was asked to educate the internal staff in .NET technology and afterwards coach on the job.
PURATOS TO WORK WITH ASP.NET AND SMARTCLIENT GUI FRAMEWORK    
Puratos was looking for a company that could deliver and install both an ASP.NET and a SmartClient GUI framework in order to speed-up their internal development using Microsoft .NET technology. Finally Euricom was selected for this job and provides continuously on the job coaching.
COCA-COLA GERMANY SELECTS EURICOM AS .NET PARTNER FOR CATEGORY MANAGEMENT SOLUTION    
Coca-Cola Germany has evaluated Euricom against a German service provider for the fixed price delivery of a key account and category management solution. The Euricom price was 75% of its German competitor, thanks to the use of the Euricom GUI and Server Frameworks.
AGF BELGIUM SHIFTS FROM MAINFRAME TO .NET WITH THE SUPPORT OF EURICOM    
The insurance company AGF Belgium selects Euricom for a double mission: training of the IT development group in the latest .NET technology and coaching of strategic development projects combining existing mainframe databases with new SQL Server databases and mainframe modules with .NET components.
XERIUS CALCULATES CHILD BENEFITS USING .NET 3.0 TECHNOLOGY    
Xerius calculates and manages their child benefits by adopting Workflow Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation in their core business management application. Besides the high demanding performance architecture Euricom helps out the development team by coaching them and by using the Euricom Server Framework.
KBC SELECTS EURICOM AS A .NET PARTNER    

For several years now KBC choose Euricom senior .NET consultants and architects to support their .NET development. Euricom has introduced Scrum as an agile development process and provided several certified Scrummasters. In July 2008 KBC signs contract with Euricom to develop the Credit Provision Calculation Tool at a fixed price.

SD WORX SELECTS EURICOM FOR OUR .NET EXPERTISE    

SD Worx offers social secretariat, outsourcing and automation services. In January 2009 SD Worx choose Euricom to strengthen  their .NET  development teams.

EURICOM DELIVERED .NET E-SAMBA SYSTEM TO ACERTA.    

Acerta e-Samba will be the new Salary administration system for the Acerta customers and was delivered at a fixed price. Their complex business is simplified by a unique system and developed with the Euricom Software Factory.

T-GROEP SELECTS EURICOM AS IT'S PRIMARY BUSINESS PARTNER FOR .NET DEVELOPMENT

   

t-groep's activities rely on a business critical .NET project that was left a total mess after 3 years of development by another ICT company. Euricom's objective was to improve stability and performance, something the other ICT company was unable to achieve. Within 6 months, a team of Euricom developers and architects was able to achieve this goal by upgrading code from .NET 1.1 to .NET 3.5, upgrading the database from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005, upgrading BizTalk 2004 to BizTalk 2006, introducing release management, introducing a testing framework, introducting WCF, separating batch-processes from online-processes, introducing SCRUM development, implementing automatic daily builds, database performance tuning, and so on. All this while fixing bugs and implementing new functionality.
 

EURICOM WAS SELECTED TO OPTIMIZE THE SYNCHRONIZATION SYSTEM FOR A PILOT PROJECT AT ELIA.

   

This pilot project is used by 'field' engineers to find and adjust data about high voltage installations. The application runs on an industrial touch enabled laptop and the data is locally stored in a SQL Express database.The current synchronization system has performance issues. The aim of this project is to use the Microsoft Sync Framework v2 to redevelop the synchronization layer, mainly to solve these problems.
