In those 10 years, Euricom has become somewhat of a household name when it comes to .NET development and experts. And although .NET development still is and probably will always be our major line of business, over the years our horizons have broadened. More and more, Microsoft products like CRM and SharePoint caught our customers’ attentions and brought us to extend our expertise into those products. As these products are themselves based on .NET technology, the growth has been smooth for us, with some of our .NET experts shifting their focus from development into CRM or SharePoint. The result is that we can now offer our customers not only expertise in CRM and SharePoint, but also in .NET customization and integration of those products with their existing applications built in .NET.
To be honest, with the global economic crisis, it hasn’t been the best year to celebrate an anniversary, but it has given us a very profound reason to perform a thorough introspective. As mentioned before Euricom has already extended its offer packages to include products as CRM and SharePoint to better suit our customers’ needs. But the development process itself was also examined. What can we do to make our development process even better and at the same time more efficient for us and our customers? Through the adaptation of lean manufacturing principles we can now provide our clients with a complete Software Factory, eliminating as much “waste” or overhead as possible. No more projects that start with a year of analysis work, a year of development work and testing just to find that the reality at release is in no way the same as when the project started. Using agile development methods and communicating and collaborating with our customer through our PMIS, we counter exactly that. Lean manufacturing works for us and our customers, who no longer need to invest in things that have no added value, something everybody can appreciate in these times.
So I’m confident in saying that the package we offer today with our expertise in CRM and SharePoint and our experts doing agile development, all backed by specialized tools such as our PMIS, makes Euricom as competitive as or even more competitive than it has ever been and even more importantly … ready for the next 10 years.
